Patterns in Nature

“The patterns in nature” explored the structural and visual elegance of insects and animals. Although this project demanded extensive scientific research to accurately depict the sequences and complexities found in nature, I greatly enjoyed transforming these biological characteristics into striking visual patterns.

By examining sophisticated systems in living creatures at a macroscopic level and studying their remarkable functions, I was able to translate my research findings into graphic patterns.

The Work Process

  1. I engaged in a month-long collaboration with a biology graduate student to study the structural characteristics of insects and animals.

  2. We selected specific living creatures known for their distinctive biological traits and conducted thorough research on them.

  3. The results were meticulously organized and then creatively translated into graphic patterns.
