About
I spent my childhood in Indonesia, where my experiences deeply impacted me. My family sought refuge from violent riots, I witnessed children begging in the streets for money, encountered people who couldn't spell their names, and we had our house robbed repeatedly. These challenging experiences cultivated my desire to make a positive impact on the world through design.
Originally trained in graphic design, I spent four years working as an in-house graphic and visual merchandising designer at Hotel Shilla Co., a company within the Samsung Group in Korea. To further my ability to create meaningful change, I pursued a Master’s degree in Social Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), aiming to become a more effective and socially responsible designer.
I now reside in Sejong, nurturing a beautiful young baby girl born in October 2022. Motherhood has opened a new world to me, and I strive to be a good mother while aspiring to re-enter the design world to reignite my passion as a designer.
